Hertfordshire Well-Being Programme Versus HSE Stress Risk Assessment

Stress Risk Assessment

but....

Well-Being Programme

However....

Audits show 30% of primary schools and 80% of secondary and special schools are not carrying out stress risk assessments.

Through using the well-being programme you will get support through the assessment process and in implementing solutions.

Led by head teachers, so they are not included in the assessment processes.

Head teachers are part of the well-being programme.

Often viewed negatively - what are our problems?

Positive, holistic approach - what can we do to improve our well-being?

Often viewed as something we have to do to meet legal requirements. Not school owned.

Viewed as something everyone contributes to because it benefits them and the school.

No route to feedback issues to the Council.

Data from surveys will help the Council to identify common stressors across schools and so support schools better.
