Recruitment Forms & Guidance

New application forms have been developed in line with recent legislation for safer recruitment in schools and age discrimination. There are general guidance notes below for schools and governors. From now on, all applicants for either teaching or support staff roles in schools should complete the relevant application form and a person specification form.

Candidates can apply online to live vacancies at:

The Teachinherts.com website application forms conform to the same format, so if candidates apply online they will look very similar. Don't forget that you can upload job descriptions, person specifications and any other supporting documentation to your vacancy on teachinherts.com to save time and expense of sending out application packs.

Alternatively application forms and the person specification application form can be downloaded below. Schools have the option of either downloading the pdf forms to print them and send them out, or can email the word documents so that candidates can complete them electronically and send back by email. Guidance notes for candidates as to how to complete the forms are to be found here too.

There are also sample letters below that schools can personalise for reference taking and invitation to interview.
