Why is Dewhurst St Mary C of E Primary School Web
Site of the Month?
- There are a lot of photos showing the inside and outside of the school
and the children's work.
- The navigation is simple and easy to follow.
- It's a nice idea to link from children's drawings of the class teachers
into the class web page.
- The information on the site is current.
Improvements which could be made:
- Colours make the pages more attractive, but remember that some people
may have difficulty reading text in certain colours. Headings should
be made identified by other means than change of colour.
- The News and Dates page would be clearer if the dates were on a separate
page from the news items - or maybe add a link from the top of the
page to the news. It would also be a good idea to highlight the actual
dates somehow so that they stand out.
Overall, the Dewhurst St Mary C of E Primary School website
is an excellent site.
