Site of the Month?
- The site caters for its target audience very well. It includes pretty
much everything you would expect to see on a school web site plus a
few extra bits that you wouldn’t normally see. You can even find
information on this site about aerobics sessions and local child minders!
These extra touches help the site appeal to a wider audience.
- There is good use of images that really help to enhance this site,
the home page which is make up a grid of images looks great and sells
the school well.
- The site is a great source of information for up to date school news,
useful links and past events. All the text on the pages has been written
in a friendly and relaxed style, this particularly comes across on the
showcase pages which are fun to read.
Further Development Ideas for The Leys Primary
and Nursery School Web Site...
- The scrolling speed of the banner on the home page could do with being
a bit slower to make the information a bit more readable and less distracting
to the eye.
- It would be great to see a page for each class featuring pupils work.
This is a nice way of displaying examples of good work that children
have produced during the year.
