Why is Arnett Hills JMI School Web
Site of the Month?
- New information and graphics are constantly being added keeping the
site interesting and worth visiting regularly.
- The navigation is good and very clear.
- Every page is nicely presented with either animated graphics, photos,
or children's work.
- The jigsaw on the class pages looks good and nicely leads into a colourful
and fun page for each class. It is great to see this incorporated into
the site as the jigsaw can be spotted around the school - it represents
working together and is part of the schools ethos.
- There is good use of PDF documents and links to download the reader
if needed.
- Having a short piece of information about each governor is a nice
idea and makes the governing body page very welcoming.
Further Development Ideas for Arnett
Hills JMI School Web Site...
- Changing the target of the PDF documents so that they open in a new
browser window would be very useful. This may help visitors that exiting
out of the Internet by accident by clicking on the close icon instead
of the back button.
