'This document will be used to record the level of service that Connexions will deliver to schools and their pupils in Hertfordshire. The annual agreement is negotiated between each school and the Connexions Service Local Managers in liaison with the agencies who are contracted to deliver Connexions in the county.'

Connexions Website
The Connexions Card is a secure smartcard, designed specially for you, which allows you to collect reward points for learning, work-based training and voluntary activities. These can be exchanged for discounted and free goods and services and other rewards, including some exclusive 'money can't buy' experiences. The Card can also be used for on-the-spot discounts and special offers from outlets and business displaying the Connexions Card window sticker.

Hertfordshire Education Business Partnership

HEBP encourages and assists schools and businesses to build closer links between education and the world of work.

  • An initiative for all pupils - nursery to higher education - and all businesses aiming to link schools and businesses in practical projects.
  • Advice and support for schools and businesses on partnership activities. The partnership can also signpost to other support organisations, local and national.
  • Advice on placements for teachers and lecturers; placements in education for business; curriculum projects; management projects; consultancy; business tutors.
  • Supported by Champions Group of senior business and education managers in the county.
