The focus of this meeting was How Science Works and APP |

The morning session asked teachers to think about How School Science Works and How Science Works and to think about the different approaches used by famous scientists.
After a session on Science in the Media, delegates ended up doing some Water Dowsing!
The afternoon session was an opportunity for delegates to work collaboratively to come up with tasks to address the 20 APP Threads.
Delegates then considered a possible timeline for implementation of APP. |
Work produced by delegates has not been moderated by the Herts CC Science Team in any way so should be treated on the understanding that we are not necessarily condoning that certain activities should definitely be used at certain levels.
It does, however, contain interesting ideas. |
