The Hertfordshire Scheme of Work for Primary Religious Education 2012-2017 updated September 2013

The non-statutory scheme of work for Primary Religious Education has undergone some revision to be in line with the statutory requirements set out in the new Hertfordshire Agreed Syllabus of Religious Education 2012-2017.

All units have been approved by the Hertfordshire SACRE (Standing Advisory Council on Religious Education).

The RE Curriculum map provides an example of long term planning for pupils from Nursery – Year 6. The long term planning supports the units outlined in the non-statutory scheme of work for primary RE. The scheme of work updates allow teachers to meet the statutory requirements of the Hertfordshire Agreed Syllabus for Religious Education 2012-2017.
