Signposting Young People to Services and Information

As a teacher it is important particularly in the secondary phase to signpost students to additional information, clinical support if necessary and information surrounding abortion should the need arise. It is good practice to have a board clearly visible in school or a website to provide this information for pupils. Attached is a leaflet that signposts young people to a range of services.

A YC Hertfordshire One Stop Shop is a venue where local partners come together to deliver a wide range of services for young people; these services include the provision of youth work, information, advice, guidance and support on all aspects of sexual health and wellbeing.
