Good Practice Case Studies

One of the important aspects of the Key Stage 3 strategy involves identifying and sharing good practice. These PSHE good practice case studies are being developed to help share expertise and ideas across the county. If you would like to contribute to building this resource, please download the blank form under Latest Case Studies and return it to Karen Summers.

Pupil Involvement in Learning & Teaching

10 case studies detail the different ways in which ‘pupil voice’ can be used in school  eg. school council, assessment of learning & teaching, staff recruitment, school self-evaluation form, ‘ask the head sessions’, peer researchers, community consultation links, etc.

Each case study clearly sets out the purpose and method employed and the impact on pupil engagement in the process.

All school phases are represented in the collection of case studies.

Sharing this best practice is intended to promote pupil voice in whole school decision making. More...
