PSHE & Citizenship at Key Stages 1 & 2 Framework

For the first time there is a national Framework for PSHE and Citizenship at Key Stages 1 & 2 within the National Curriculum. The non-statutory framework will support schools in meeting their statutory requirements under section 351 of the 1996 Education Act. It will allow schools to build on their existing good practice to provide progressive programmes of study that are explicit to all members of the school community, meet the needs of their pupils and which are manageable for staff.
