Staff Responses
- Use of talk partners embedded and useful throughout whole school and
across the curriculum–confirmed in lesson observations
- Use of drama for extended writing on Fridays has produced more lively
and imaginative work. Children’s writing has also improved in
accuracy and fluency with the benefit of the children speaking and rehearsing
what they want to write before they actually write it.

- World Book Day. Dress and act as a character from fiction
- Professional puppet show for whole school and puppet making workshop
to lead into speaking and listening opportunities
