2010 Edition

Welcome to the second edition of the Hertfordshire National CPD ‘Celebrating Success’ booklet. Included in the booklet are examples of how NCPD funding has been used to support CPD in the county and how it has supported the raising of standards in PE across our schools. It is a celebration of best practice and exemplifies how CPD makes an impact on outcomes for pupils. I hope you find it interesting.

Over the last 5 years we have been able to offer over 450 free courses for teachers and TA’s and over 6750 delegates have attended training. We currently have 35 high quality CPD trainers in the School Sports Partnerships who will be able to carry on with this good work when the funding ends in March 2011.

I would like to thank the consortium members from YST, DfE, SCUK and afPE for all the support we have received over the last few years and to the members of the Local Delivery Agency in Herts without whose support none of this would have been possible.
