Responding to Racist Incidents (Training Guidance)

Preventing and Dealing with Racist Incidents

All schools should have received a printed copy of the revised County guidance 'Preventing and Dealing with Racist Incidents: A toolkit for Hertfordshire schools'. The pack will also include 2 versions of the document on CD: one for governors, one for staff.

This guidance completely replaces the 2001 guidance. The executive summary details the key changes within the document and the locations at which these can be found. In particular there is significant change with regard to the notification of "serious racist incidents" that schools are recommended to ensure they access without delay.
