Data, Policy & National StrategiesNew Primary National Strategy materials 'Excellence and Enjoyment: Learning and Teaching for Black Children in the Primary Years' NewIncludes elearning modules. Data on the Achievement of Black Pupils in Herts schools (2003-2007)The graphs give details of the achievement of four of the Black groups of pupils (Black Caribbean and Black African, Mixed White and Black Caribbean, Mixed White and Black African) at Key Stages 1,2,3 and 4 set against the achievement of all pupils in Herts. They show the percentages of pupils gaining the expected standards at the end of the Key Stages in Science, Maths and English (KS 1,2,3) and 5 or more GCSEs A* to C grades including English and Maths (KS4). This information is supplied by the Herts County Council Information Team (Schools) from Herts schools data.

African Caribbean Achievement ProjectThe aim of the project is to develop school leaders to lead a whole school approach to raise African-Caribbean achievement. Black Pupil's Achievement ProgrammeThe programme focuses on whole school strategies to raise attainment of black pupils, on leadership, teaching and learning, parental engagement, pupil voice, and a continuing emphasis on understanding and using data.
