A skilled teacher and leader, David leads the mathematics team.  He has a proven track record in supporting schools to improve outcomes for pupils and has successfully led a number of school partnerships.  David is particularly interested in assessment for learning, curriculum development, enhancing mathematical thinking through talk and fostering school communities of learners.

Charlie Harber

Charlie brings considerable experience of working across the primary age range as a teacher, subject leader and assistant headteacher. She became a consultant in 2009 and was accredited as Local Consultant for Improvement: Primary mathematics in 2010.  Charlie gained accreditation as a Numicon and Numicon Intervention trainer in 2012.

As a consultant, Charlie has a proven track record in working alongside schools through a variety of models, to improve outcomes for all children. She is passionate about nurturing a deep love of mathematics in all children by making maths real, exciting and accessible for all.

Her training and consultancy is always highly evaluated and has been described as inspirational, highly motivating and fun!

Deborah Mulroney

 An extremely experienced adviser, Deborah’s particular passion is in the improvement of children’s talk and reasoning in mathematics.  Much of Deborah’s work in school has been in partnership with a team of consultants and SEAs in the intervention team working intensively in schools towards whole school improvement This nationally recognised team have led the way in narrowing the gaps of achievement and improving the life chances of all children.

In her role as Teaching and Learning Adviser Julia has worked closely with schools’ SLTs to support school improvement.  Julia is passionate about providing a rich and exciting curriculum for all children, and in particular improving the quality of teaching and learning in mathematics. Areas of expertise include; developing subject leaders, assessment for learning, including effective use of success criteria to support learning and cross curricular planning ensuring progression.
