OverviewWelcome to the Hertfordshire Mathematics Advisory Team’s website. The mathematics team provides support to all Hertfordshire LEA schools, their teachers and ancillary staff, as well as parents and carers. Our aim is that young people in Hertfordshire achieve the highest possible standards in mathematics. Overview statement - Mathematics Advisory Team We are a large team comprising consultants and advisers. We each have different but complementary roles. Consultants are mostly involved in supporting government funded initiatives such as the Primary National Strategy and the mathematics strand of the Secondary National Strategy. The mathematics team is involved in a large range of projects to support Hertfordshire schools. These include:

Teachers are encouraged to visit these leading Professionals to observe good practice and perhaps revitalise or move forward in their own teaching!
