Certificate of Achievement

Very few students in Hertfordshire Schools do not achieve a GCSE in Mathematics if they make an effort and stick with the course.

However the Certificate of Achievement is ideal for students who will not achieve a grade G, GCSE… or as a motivator, with students who find mathematics difficult. Some students, entering for the Certificate at the end of Year 10, achieve gold awards and are more keen to continue in Year 11 to attempt the GCSE.

Since 2004 results in Certificates of Achievement count towards a student’s overall points score.
