Mixed Age Medium-Term Planning
The mixed aged medium term plans have been produced for Y1/2, 3/4 and 5/6.
The objectives from each block for two adjacent year groups are presented onto one page. Objectives from those strands may be reordered to ensure that alignment occurs.
The front cover tick sheet indicates in which units the learning objectives occur.
A blank box indicates that a corresponding learning objective is not present within that unit of work.
The end of year learning objectives are indicated in bold.
Further schedules repeat the alignment of objectives for each unit within a block.
When identifying objectives for a lesson, careful thought needs to be made as to what the lesson focus is and what this looks like in the other year groups within the class.
