Schools recognise the importance of meeting the health and wellbeing, as well as the academic needs of their children and young people. There is a well established correlation between health and educational achievement.

Schools play an important role in supporting the health and wellbeing of children and young people.

The Hertfordshire Healthy Schools materials help schools to 'plan, do and review' their whole school approach to health and wellbeing and to evidence the impact on children's progress and achievement.
