News & MeetingsPenn Resilience Programme (PRP) Teacher Training NewHow to Thrive is pleased to announce the dates of the next Penn Resilience Programme (PRP) Teacher Training in November 2011. This training is now open to primary schools as well as secondary and middle schools. The places are subsidised by How to Thrive for Hertfordshire schools. More... ITV Anglia Tonight NewsToo Much Too Young: 4 January 2011Are children in Britain dealing with too much too young? A series of programmes on ITV investigates the pressures young people face and the remarkable stories of how they cope. They visited Marriotts School in Stevenage that has developed a novel way of helping children deal with stress. Hertfordshire PRP ForumEveryone that has been PRP Teacher trained is invited to attend a termly 2 hour meeting to share practice and progress and to reflect on the delivery of the programme. The meetings are usually held within a school between to 4.30 pm and 6.30 pm. Venues are varied to ensure travel is shared. Staff involved in these meetings have found them valuable and so the meetings are part of the criteria and attendance is viewed as good practice. Next Meeting Dates
