Description of Activity
- Sustainable water - follow a trail illustrating water sources and
water conservation.
- Waste aware lunchtime - reducing, re-using and recycling materials
- Sustainable habitats trail
- Buildings and shelter
Learning Outcomes
Children will:
- Gain an understanding of what is sustainable development means and
what personal responsibility to its principles might mean
- Understand the water cycle and the importance of water on Earth.
- Learn how to conserve water.
- Experience making a model or artefact from recycled materials
- Appreciate what can be done to conserve the natural environment
