Flexibility is key and you may choose to give your visit a main focus based on just one subject or select a number of activities from more than one of our suggested courses. We can adapt our courses to Children at Cuffley Campmeet specific national curriculum requirements for:

  • Early Years
  • Key Stage 1
  • Key Stage 2
  • Common Entrance
  • Key Stage 3
  • Key Stage 4
  • A-level students

The course descriptions detailed within this brochure are just your starting point for a discussion with the Hertfordshire Outdoors member of staff leading your day.

We are also able to arrange a variety of activities off site such as sailing, canoeing, raft building, climbing and caving. Please ask for further details.

Each visit to a Hertfordshire Outdoors Centre is tailored to meet the needs of the individual class. Residential visits can be made up of a mix and match of different activities. You may also choose from the activities detailed in the day visits section of this brochure.

Cuffley Camp Outdoor Centre

During your visit at Cuffley Camp we offer one activity session, taught by Centre staff, for each half day of your stay. In addition a member of the school staff can teach a number of the activities, for which all the necessary equipment will be provided. All activities are booked on a first come first served basis and require at least one member of school staff to accompany each group.

Hudnall Park Field Studies Centre

Hudnall Park offers a wide range of academic activities developed to support a number of syllabuses for students of all ages. Each group is appointed an experienced and dedicated tutor for the duration of their stay.
