CCGE and the Forum meet for a 3 day course in the
summer holidays and for one weekend each term.
The County Classical Guitar nsemble explores a
wide variety of music including commissions and
arrangements and gives three concerts per season.
The Ensemble have recorded a CD and were recently
invited to perform at the National Music Council
Awards ceremony in London.
In addition to the County Classical Guitar Ensemble,
there is also the Classical Guitar Forum that meets
concurrently with the ensemble. The Forum is a feeder
group for CCGE, training and coaching future members.
The Forum is coached by David van Spall and will also
take advantage of the skills and expertise of the Music
Service’s guitar teachers.
