In Hertfordshire, geography is supported in a number of inter-related
ways. A major resource for local geography is the Hertfordshire Local Studies
Library (part of Hertfordshire Archives
and Local Studies. Good links exist
with planning departments at local district/borough and county level.
Outdoor Connexions Hertfordshire provides field study courses in geography for all ages and
abilities at two county bases, Cuffley and Hudnall Park. Their
staff also provide guidance and training on the use of the school grounds
