Early Years SEND Teams

The Early Years SEND team are part of the Hertfordshire Integrated Services for Learning within Children's Services.

There are five new multi professional teams in each Double District.

The teams will offer:

• Support to families for children aged 0 – 5 with complex special educational needs and disability (SEND) in line with Early Support and multi professional working.

• Support for children’s learning and developments with emerging low level or complex SEND through support for early identification, intervention and holistic planning.

• Support, advice and training to educational Early Years PVI settings to support inclusive practice and ensure the SEN Code of Practice is met.

All Educational Psychologists are based within the ISL double district teams.
