2011 Hertfordshire Schools' County Dance FestivalThe 2011 Dance Festival was held at The Alban Arena, St. Albans on Tuesday 15th and Wednesday 16th March 2011 and the theme was “A Date to Remember”. This year we are proud to present two completely different programmes over two days, with a record 53 schools participating. Audiences can look forward to dance items inspired by, for example, the Moon Landing, the First Day at School and World War II. This biennial festival is an entirely non-competitive event which is the result of collaboration between Clare Mellish, County Adviser for Dance and Hertfordshire’s County Dance Teachers’ Association.
