21st Century Citizen Project Launch
Many colleagues will recall a session at last year's Conference which described
the concept of a website to support the teaching of citizenship created
by The British Library, The Office for National Statistics, The Royal Statistical
Society Centre for Statistical Education and The Public Record Office.
The website was launched at a reception at the British Council hosted by
the Chief Executive of the BL, Lynne Brindley. NAACE was represented at
the Launch and the Association's support for this development was acknowledged
publicly.
www.21citizen.org.uk this
will continue to be developed over the coming months.

It invites children to explore a self-contained world, full of online games and activities. These games introduce important ideas such as citizenship, democracy and political participation.
