This sheet provides an overview of the choice of tasks and tests available. Remember that these can be used to inform teacher assessment at any time during the year, but it is not intended that children are tested more than once. This sheet provides a useful overview of the tasks and tests available. It is intended for teachers to use when planning which groups of children will take which test and the support needed (e.g. resources, TA present).
Linking Tasks & Tests to the Year 2 Curriculum New
This sheet can be used to plan for the tasks and tests, making links for the children with work in which they are already involved. Please refer to the Teacher’s Handbooks which provide very detailed guidance on the preparations that should be made in order that the children are working in a relevant context.
