KS4 Engagement ProgrammeThis is a national programme based on a QCA template and piloted by 21 partnerships in 2006-2007. In 2007-2008, it will run in 70 partnerships across the country with 1500 young people. It is a personalised programme for KS4 learners most at risk of disengagement. With an emphasis on personal, social and functional skills, the programme includes a work-focussed component in the workplace and regular information, advice and guidance. A suite of guidance has been produced including templates and factsheets outlining the key elements, information on ways to accredit the programme both formally and informally.
