Good Practice Network MeetingsDatesThe dates and times for the academic year 2004/2005 are:
Each of these sessions will take place at The Development Centre, Wheathampstead. The intention is to invite a variety of speakers to address these meetings. It is hoped that throughout the year there will be opportunities to explore specific areas of concern. If you have a particular aspect that you wish to be addressed e.g. placements, progression routes and the suitability of alternative courses to replace the Intermediate GNVQ, we could ensure that these queries are answered. To this end it would be a good idea to raise these issues at the first meeting to allow them to be addressed on subsequent occasions. The network should provide support for teachers new to the teaching of Health and Social Care as well as an opportunity to share good practice with established practitioners. We do hope that many colleagues will be able to attend the meeting and provide a strong network that will take on the increase in demand for all the many varied Health and Social Care courses on offer from Key-Stage 4 to Key-Stage 5.
