Standards and School Effectiveness Prices - 2013/14

Standards and School Effectiveness (SSE) has frozen prices for its key services over the last 3 years. This year we have applied a minimal inflation to our key services, training and consultancy products. 1% inflation on consultancy (equivalent to just £5 on a day’s consultancy), and 2% on training (equivalent to £2 for a full day’s CPD training), are both below current national inflation rates, which are running at around 2.7%.

From 1 April 2013, our training and consultancy will be charged monthly to schools on a pay as you use basis, rather than via the membership scheme (formerly known as School Membership Plus). This change is partly in response to feedback received from our customers, some of whom find the existing process of paying up front for training and consultancy excessively bureaucratic and complicated.

The new prices are summarised below. Schools will receive a copy of their 2013/14 traded contract summary at the end of February 2013, including the new price details which will become effective from 1st April 2013.

Our extensive continuing professional development (CPD) programme is designed to support school staff at all stages of their career, to enhance and broaden their professional knowledge, skills and expertise, whilst also improving pupils’ learning experiences and achievements.
