Financial Services for Schools Helpline will be closed from 3rd of August and will re-open on 24th August 2009.

Demonstration for School Secretaries/ Bursars of the New Generation Software from RM Finance

12 February 2009 : Integris Finance

Integris Finance is a new generation of software supporting schools financial management.

The software is centrally hosted and delivered via a browser, enabling the school user to access the functionality from any PC in the home or in school. Integris also enables the authority to access live school data, supporting the consolidation of school accounts.

Integris Finance offers the following:

• Double entry accounting
• BACS collection and payment
• Support for EProcurement
• Provides balances sheet, profit and loss and trial balance reports across the authority
• Centrally managed upgrades and data collection
• Flexible reporting options
• Links to other local authority systems

Financial Services for Schools has arranged for a demonstration of Integris financial software, to be held at Chauncy School, Ware on the morning of the 12th February, and would like to invite schools interested in viewing the software. Places are limited and will be accepted on a first come first served basis.

Please note that this demonstration is intended to establish the views of schools as part of our continuous review of alternative financial management systems. No decision to replace the existing RM Finance software will be taken without consultation with schools and partners.

We are currently testing a new verison of the financial planning software that will link into the School Development Plan.

This will be ready for release to schools in October with a view to transferring data from RM Financial Planning to enable schools to use it for updating their current budget in preparation for the new financial year 2009/10.

After the initial installation of the software all upgrades will be available from the grid.
