Standards and School Effectiveness (SSE) provides a comprehensive range of standard and bespoke school improvement services, designed to raise the achievement of children by improving the quality of leadership, teaching and support in schools, academies and other educational settings.

The professional development opportunities offered online and through our brochures are designed to support school, academy and early years’ staff, at all stages of their career, to enhance and broaden their professional skills, knowledge and understanding. Through a wide range of activities, participants are able to share good practice and network with colleagues from across the region.

trainer delivering CPDOur courses and programmes are delivered by experienced and expert educationalists, ensuring participants experience excellent delivery and get the most up to date information on educational issues. Our extensive conference programme boasts nationally renowned speakers who challenge thinking and provide a wider experience and perception of educational issues.

Whilst many of our popular courses are offered on a regular basis, we are also able to arrange bespoke training, consultancy and advice to individual schools, academies and other educational settings, as well as groups of schools wishing to work together. This can be a cost effective way of delivering CPD which is matched specifically to the needs of the organisation/s in terms of content, location and time. For more information please visit:
