Are you looking for the Implementing ICT in Year Group Courses?

The Hertfordshire ICT Team's courses on the Implementation of QCA ICT into Year Groups have been hugely successful, and our feedback from these courses has been excellent. However, we are constantly striving to meet the needs of schools and have therefore redesigned our course profile to meet the changing needs of schools.

In the light of this, we are now offering support for teaching ICT QCA units in a personalised way within schools. Our ICT Advisers are able to come into your school and train staff using your own equipment on the teaching of the QCA units. We are able to cover two units per half day. The standard cost of this service is £254, regardless of the number if staff being trained (max. 15).

By using our QCA support service, staff will be able to:

  • develop the personal skills needed to teach the ICT units
  • develop resources to support the teaching of the units
  • obtain guidance about the delivery of the ICT curriculum
  • work through a lesson progression for the unit which includes provision for differentiation and ICT assessment
  • receive a support pack for the term ahead

If you would like to book this service or ask for another personalised support package, please contact the ICT Administrator on 01582 830 328.

Sending more than two people from your school on the same course?

Why not consider booking an in-school support session from our Advisers instead? Obtain a personliased support course for your staff from £508 a day.
