What Support do I have as an NQT?
We are delighted that you have decided to start your teaching career in Hertfordshire and wish you every success in your chosen career.
You should have received from us a welcome pack including an NQT handbook and details of all the NQT courses that the LA runs to help support you. We would recommend that you attend the core training as the sessions not only provide valuable and relevant information but give you an opportunity to mix with other NQTs sharing your experiences. If you have not recieved a copy of the handbook please check the school has registered you as an NQT and if you have any problems contact us at the admin office on 01438 844755.
