Standards and School Effectiveness (SSE) provides a wide range of support and improvement services to schools and academies in Hertfordshire and beyond.

Over the past year Hertfordshire County Council has been working with schools and academies on the development of a new schools’ company to provide school improvement and business support services to meet the future needs of education in Hertfordshire. The new company Herts for Learning Ltd will be launched in September 2013.

Whilst the Herts for Learning website reflects the current offerings of SSE’s school improvement services, it has been designed to evolve into the future website for the schools company.
