Planning for Progression
Progression is a term used to describe the stepwise development of understanding and skills within a lesson, unit of work, year or Key Stage.
As part of the Key Stage 3 Strategy we recommend that departments review their schemes of work to ensure that they address issues of progression. The materials below may help with this process.
