Achievement for Low Attainers in Literacy - Intervening for Success

The case studies describe whole school approaches that resulted in a low percentage of children achieving below Level 3 in English at the end of KS2. They provide an overview of good practice that can be drawn upon by all schools.

Developing Speaking and Listening skills

A number of schools took part in a project to develop their knowledge and understanding of the role of speaking and listening in learning. In particular on the explicit and creative teaching of speaking and listening skills.
