Primary Schools : Get Set for Games4Life : Schools can order their packs now!

Get Set for Games4Life The Olympics - Euro 2012 - the Diamond Jubilee - 2012 is going to be an amazingly active year and Change4Life wants to encourage everyone to get going and be a part of the fun this summer.

Games4Life launches in May for primary schools aiming to inspire children and their families to get their active minutes everyday - 60 active minutes daily for children, 150 active minutes weekly for adults. Active minutes are the ones that really get our hearts pumping - helping us to feel good and strengthening our hearts and bones too.  

The free Games4Life packs have lots of fantastic ideas for primary teachers and school children to harness the energy and excitement of summer 2012.

Register now, to become a school-based Change4Life local supporter and you will automatically be invited to order enough Games4Life packs for your whole primary school. Stocks are limited but are only a couple of clicks away.

For information; there will be a launch to schools on the 9th May 2012, with the main campaign starting on 11th June with TV and national media activity.

Olympic Mascot Visits St Albans ‘school of the month’

Fleetville Junior School, in St Albans, has been named Get Set network school of the month for December and received a surprise visit from London 2012 Olympic mascot Wenlock.

Get Set is London 2012’s official education programme and Fleetville Junior School successfully joined the Get Set network in September 2011. The Get Set network is the London 2012 reward and recognition scheme for schools that are demonstrating a commitment to the Olympic and Paralympic Values.
