Hertfordshire is Ready for Winners eNewsletter
Keeping the flame burningAll change in Ready for Winners Towers! After an exciting, challenging and memorable last two-and-a-half years many of the Herts 2012 project team will be moving on to pastures new. But fear not! There are a lot of exciting plans for making sure that the legacy in Hertfordshire is delivered into next year and beyond. There are plans to appoint a Legacy Coordinator in the New Year to oversee projects across the county, and we have unveiled a whole new name and look to the Partnership… the Hertfordshire Olympic and Paralympic Legacy Partnership. To show our commitment a new Legacy Board was created on November 5. It approved funding for 5 projects and is looking to support more in 2013:
As we all know this is only the start, so we would love to keep in touch with you so that you can find out more about how we are delivering the legacy and how you could be a part of it too. With 22 subscribing partners now on board, the new Partnership will seek to build on the foundations laid over the past 6 years and ensure a lasting legacy in Hertfordshire. Keep a look out for new contact details as the current ones will no longer be in place from December 31 2012. As we say farewell to many of the team, may we offer our warmest thanks to you for being a part of this journey with us and for helping us along the way. And finally, as we say farewell to a memorable 2012 which far exceeded our expectations we hope you have a joyous festive period and best wishes for the New Year. The Herts 2012 Team
