Goffs School (341)
Goffs School is a larger than average 11-18 secondary, located in Cheshunt. Attainment on entry is higher than average, and the great majority of pupils are White British with about 15% from ethnic communities. The Sele School (247)
The Sele School is a smaller than average 11-18 secondary, serving a broad ability of students. In 2008, Ofsted described the school as ‘Good with outstanding features’. Results have improved year on year for the past four years. The deputy head is currently leading and overseeing the small scale pilot in school, and reports that already, the benefits of One to One tuition are apparent. Study Support Residential - Aim Higher (SSOSHL)

Children Looked After frequently perform poorly at school
compared to the general population. Children Looked After often have problems in accessing Study Support because they have been relocated away from their communities and have much longer travel times to get to school. This pilot project was designed to get around this problem by offering a residential Study Support course at Hertfordshire University for Year 11 children. The course focused on both helping pupils with preparing for their examinations plus raising their aspirations for after they leave school. More...
