Financial Literacy
ASDAN
Some schools are using materials to improve students’ financial
awareness – an incredibly useful skill for life!
Some schools are already using some of the ASDAN materials for PSHE
and Citizenship. The new ‘Personal Finance Education’ module
may be used as a stand-alone or be used to support and develop ASDAN’s
Key Steps (KS3 PSHE/Citizenship) and Key Decisions (KS4 PSHE/Citizenship)
programmes.
The module includes 20 units of classroom based challenges, tutor guidance
and a set of realistic financial documents eg household bills, statements,
wage slips.
