Make sure you have written out (just
1 or 2 sides of A4) a list of successes of your department:
- students off to University to study mathematics
- students entered the School Mathematics Challenges + how many golds…
- full staffing
- examination results, if appropriate, eg increased number of level
8s…
- numeracy across the curriculum successes
- text books for each student
- LCD projectors in two classrooms
- enjoyed and benefited from Mathematics Consultant support – give
examples
- Maths Club
- Mathematics visits / puzzle days…
- Y9 Booster sessions
- recent decoration of the mathematics rooms
- introduction of plants in the rooms… Mozart playing at change
of lessons…
