There are a huge number of good websites about mathematics, but unfortunately there are also some poor ones...

If you come across a very good site for mathematics, whether it be for teaching or for mathematical interest, please share it with us.

Please remember to state your name, school, the web address of the site and a few comments.

The intention is that a large number of Websites will be highlighted with a brief review on each one. Information on specific pages of particular websites will also be included.

• www.cut-the-knot.com Interactive Mathematics Miscellany and Puzzles.

• East of England Observatory
  The aim of this site is to provide organisations with an information gateway to the East of England Region. The site contains a lot of useful info, resources, contacts and datasets.

• www.gcsemathspastpapers.com excellent web site for GCSE mathematics.

• Hertfordshire Observatory
  This site data sets for Hertfordshire for social, economic
  and environmental resources

• vtc.ngfl.gov.uk - teacher resource exchange KS3 Virtual Teacher Centre mathematics pages.

• www.nrich.maths.org.uk a really rich resource, for extending students, with new activities each month; use the Archive to find activities and solutions from previous months. My favourite!

  is about helping teachers and pupils to get more from statistics. For pupils, datasets you can download and include in your own projects, free of charge. For teachers, lesson plans and worksheets, which you are free to download and use in class.
