  • Fleetville Infant & Nursery school
  • Ludwick Nursery/Oaktree Children's Centre
  • Peartree Way nursery
  • Rye Park school
  • The Grange school
  • The Sele school

Hertfordshire Inclusion Mark

The Inclusion Mark is a Hertfordshire award for schools.  It indicates that the accredited school has demonstrated that it has strong, effective inclusive practice securely in place for the whole range of vulnerable pupils in the school.  It is available at three levels (bronze, silver and gold) and is renewable after three years.

The vulnerable groups in the school may include:

  • Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (including behaviour and dual or multiple vulnerabilities)
  • Siblings of children with SEND
  • Those entitled to Free School Meals
  • Black Minority Ethnic pupils
  • Children Looked After
  • Children in the care of grandparents or other family members
  • Those with hidden vulnerabilities eg. children with a parent in prison
  • Summer born children
  • Gifted and talented
  • Young carers
  • Children on the Child Protection register

Sele school receiving inclusion mark
