New National ICT Mark

ICT Mark

This new QA mark builds upon and will eventually replace the Naacemark, which twenty two Hertfordshire schools already hold. The award recognises a school's success in developing a strategic approach to ICT.

In order to gain the new award, the schools have to demonstrate that in addition to meeting the criteria set for Naacemark, they meet criteria focusing on the impact of ICT on:

  • pupils' progress in developing ICT capability
  • the impact of ICT on attitudes and behaviour and
  • pupils' progress in their wider learning, including creativity.

12 Hertfordshire Schools Win New ICT Mark!

Twelve Hertfordshire schools were among the first in the country to win a prestigious new ICT mark.

To have twelve schools that are among the first in the country to gain this new award is a wonderful achievement and they are to be congratulated. This clearly demonstrates the exceptional leadership in ICT that we have in our Hertfordshire schools.
