ELCs have now been distributed to schools for the fourth year. These funds are intended to support the purchase of multimedia, electronic materials to support learning and teaching in other subjects. ELCs distributed in April 2006 must be spent by August 2007.
The ICT Curriculum Team is keen to provide schools with support and guidance for the use of this funding. Following the success of a previous events, we have organised an ‘e-Learning Credit Exhibition’ at the Hertfordshire Development Centre on the 7th June.
This will be a no charge, informal drop-in event held between 3.30pm and 6.00pm. There will be no presentations, but suppliers will be on hand to demonstrate eligible online and school-based resources on demand.
We would welcome more than one member of staff from each school in order to facilitate joint purchasing decisions. Schools that attended in previous years have indicated that they wish to bring larger groups of staff to this event. Such bookings are welcome.
