“If you weren’t there – you missed out!” That
was the verdict from one of our delegates at this year’s
ICT Conference.
Over 300 delegates were challenged and inspired by keynotes
speeches from Doug Brown and Steve
Molyneux. Both speakers
congratulated our schools on their progress with ICT and encouraged
them to continue to move towards a new, personalised use of
ICT for learning and teaching.
This year, we chose to focus
on local excellence in our seminars, ensuring that all related
to leading edge practice in Hertfordshire. The delegates
clearly felt that this was useful, and reported in their evaluations
that these sessions had given attendees a renewed sense of
excitement about the potential of ICT and given them the
impetus to build on the concepts explored back in school.
All in all, the day seemed to pass all too quickly…but
never fear – the next ICT Conference is already in the
pipeline! Keep watching this space……….

about their children's targets. Parents have the opportunity
to work alongside their children on these targets through
the use of activities that have been labeled to match those
targets. There is a place on the web site for teachers, pupils
and parents to communicate about progress towards these targets,
