BusterThe Hertfordshire Short Film Challenge, a collaboration between the School Travel Plan and ICT Curriculum teams and designed to promote healthy journeys to school has now run for a second year. It provided a wonderful opportunity for young filmmakers in Hertfordshire school to show what they can do!

The pupils were invited to create a ‘3 minute wonder’ around the theme of walking or cycling to school and the entries, which drew in themes from across the curriculum, from geography and PSHE, to literacy music and drama, came from all phases of Herts schools.

The award ceremony opened by John Harris, Director of Children’s Services, featured each of the winning and runner-up films.

Prizes, donated by Hertfordshire Health and Safety Team and BLI Education, were presented by Matt Williams of BLI Education.
